Kangen Water Research Background & History

Kangen Water has been developed to be a medicinal device in Japan 40 years ago and also more than

In 1998, Dr. Shirahata of Kyushu University had discovered the connection between Kangen Water

Cholesterol

Most people believe if they eat food with no or low cholesterol in it, they won't have any cholesterol. Right?
Wrong. Lactic and acetic acids in particular, lower the pH of body fluids drastically. When blood contains
too much of these fatty acids, blood pH is dragged down and the buffering system using alkaline minerals
commences. If there aren't enough alkaline minerals in the form of bicarbonates in the bloodstream, the
body will take calcium from the bones. There is also another way to neutralize some of the acids -- solidify
them. This is cholesterol. Even if you eat food containing no cholesterol, your body will still make it.
Cholesterol builds up as plaque in arteries and well, you know what happens next.

THE IMPACT OF ACIDOSIS ON YOUR ORGANS:

assimilation of food and producing lymphocytes for the lymphatic system’s wide ranging nodal network. They also
produce large amounts of the enzyme “chyle”, which is a major alkalizing substance. The uninterrupted flow of chyle
into the system is crucial. Too much acid waste production from acid-forming foods is a great burden on the Peyer’s
Patches, which lessens the production of chyle.


KIDNEYS

In an adult, about 1 liter of blood per minute passes through the kidneys. By executing their primary duty, the kidneys
keep the blood alkaline and extract acid. Kidneys that are over-stressed with too much acidity create kidney stones,
which are composed of waste acid cells and mineral salts that have become gummed together in a waste acid
substance. Therefore, by reducing acid-forming products from entering the body, the chances are better
that you can avoid this painful condition.


COLON

The colon must be kept clean of accumulated acid wastes. Poisons collect on the colon walls and in cases of diarrhea or
constipation will harden and reabsorb into the bloodstream. Good bowel action (complete elimination) must be done at
least 2 times per day.


LYMPHATIC SYSTEM

There are 600-700 lymph glands in the body. Lymph fluid carries nutrition to the cells and removes acid waste products.
Lymph fluid flows best in an alkaline environment. When the body is overly acidic, it slows, creating one of the most
chronic, long-term, life-threatening situations. Gradually, the lymph dries and begins to form very tiny to very large
adhesions throughout the tissues. These adhesions can interfere not only with lymph fluid but with blood flow as well.
Hindered lymph flow increases tissue acid storage. Not drinking enough purified water will also slow the lymph. Waste
products fromfoods that are not properly digested are reabsorbed into general circulation via the lymphatic ducts of the
small intestine. In addition, bowel movements that do not completely clear the body of its daily poisons are also

What are the Active Oxygen O2- (Free Radicals)?



Free radicals are highly aggressive molecules which react very fast to their environment because of an impaired electron.
Free radicals can influence important matters ocurring naturally in the body, and they can cause in a particular way damage
the body cells right down to their degeneration ( tumor development, aging ). Free Radicals will attack our cells 73,00 times
at least every day inside the body which study from the reseach report. They also take part in the damaging of, blood
vessels, intestines, colon skin, lung, eyes and fetch out over 200 kinds of difference chronic disease inside the body.

Every organism produces free radicals by way of its metabolism and the defence reactions of its immune system.
If the conditions are favourable, the body can neutralise these molecules. But often an increased production of free
radicals is caused in particular by exterior influences. In addition to the great number of harmful substances our
body has to digestevery day (like food additives, preservatives, alcohol, nicotin, drugs, environmental poisons)
a daily routinecoupled with extreme pressure can intensify tremendously the production of free radicals.

There are numerous types of free radicals that can be formed within the body. This web site is only concerned with the oxygen centered free radicals or ROS. The most common ROS include: the superoxide anion (O2-), the hydroxyl radical (OH ·), singlet oxygen (1O2 ), and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) Superoxide anions are formed when oxygen (O2) acquires an additional electron, leaving the molecule with only one unpaired electron. Within the mitochondria O2- · is continuously being formed. The rate of formation depends on the amount of oxygen flowing through the mitochondria at any given time. Hydroxyl radicals are short-lived, but the most damaging radicals within the body. This type of free radical can be formed from O2- and H2O2 via the Harber-Weiss reaction. The interaction of copper or iron and H2O2 also produce OH · as first observed by Fenton. These reactions are significant as the substrates are found within the body and could easily interact. Hydrogen peroxide is produced in vivo by many reactions. Hydrogen peroxide is unique in that it can be converted to the highly damaging hydroxyl radical or be catalyzed and excreted harmlessly as water. Glutathione peroxidase is essential for the conversion of glutathione to oxidized glutathione, during which H2O2 isconverted to water. If H2O2 is not converted into water 1O2 is formed. Singlet oxygen is not a free radical, but can be formed during radical reactions and also cause further reactions. Singlet oxygen violates Hund's rule of electron filling in that it has eight outer electrons existing in pairs leaving one orbital of the same energy level empty. When oxygen is energetically excited one of the electrons can jump to empty orbital creating unpaired electrons. Singlet oxygen can then transfer the energy to a new molecule and act as a catalyst for free radical formation. The molecule can also interact with other molecules leading to the formation of a new free radical.

Finally, To protect the organism substances are needed which can interrupt the reactionary chains of the free.

pass on to the aggressive radical molecule so that it can be rendered harmless to the greatest
possible degree.

Electrolysis is the process that separates water into alkaline and acid water. The desired pH level ofthe resulting
water can be selected by the operator of the machine.

The pH of the alkaline and acidic water will always add up to 14. Therefore, if ideal drinking water of pH 8.5~9.5
is selected, medium acidic water of pH 4.5-5.5 (used mainly for skin care) will be produced. If strong acidic water
of pH 2.5 (a strong disinfectant with many important uses) is selected, the strong Kangen water of pH 11.5
